Recipe for: Sauerkraut and sausage

   4     Boneless Pork Chops large
1/2     lb Kielbasa light
   3     Potatoes large peeled and sliced
   2     Tart Apples peeled and sliced thin
   2     14 oz. cans Sauerkraut undrained
1/2     tsp. Salt
1/2     tsp. Pepper
   1     tsp. Dried Italian Seasoning
1/2     cup White Wine
   1     15 oz. can Peas drained

  • Spray bean pot with cooking spray.
  • Mix sat, pepper and Italian seasoning together. 
  • Layer potatoes, pork chops, kielbasa, apples and sauerkraut with a small amount of seasoning on each layer.
  • Sprinkle the last of the seasoning mix over the sauerkraut and pour the wine over the top.
  • Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Remove from the oven and stir in the peas. Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes.
  • If pork chops are not falling apart, cut into small pieces and mix back in Bean Pot to serve.
